The 13 Story Treehouse, by Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton

Living in a 13 storey treehouse with a lemonade fountain, a vegetable vaporiser and a mashmallow shooting machine that shoots mashmallows right into your mouth when your hungry would be a lot (and when I say a lot I mean a lot lot lot lot lot lot) of fun (don't you agree?!!) in one day Terry and Andy make a catanery (half cat half cannery,) meet a mermaid/see monster, create a giant banana and have it stolen by a mammoth gorilla.

I recommend for an adult to read this book to a child. No, not because it is complicated! But because the adult would be missing-out!!
